Young at Heart

Second Friday of every month 14:00 - 15:30

Who normally comes to Young at Heart?

Young at Heart is primarily a friendship group which meets on the second Friday of every month, except in August.  We gather together in the Church hall from 2pm to around 3:30pm.  Usually, there are around 25 people, mostly senior citizens both male and female, but we're very happy to welcome younger adults too.

What happens at a normal meeting?

We begin our meeting with an opening prayer, followed by a short catch up on fellowship news and usually one of Clive's jokes!!!  Then we have a speaker for around 45mins, followed by drinks and cakes.

What topics do our speakers cover?

We endeavour to have a variety of speakers, covering a range of topics to interest everyone.  In the past we've had talks about: Riding for the disabled, Mires Beck Nursery, Leprosy Mission and many more.

If someone is interested in coming along or just wants to find out more, what should they do?

Please do contact, Clive & Kath on 01482 812891 or email the Church Secretary at secretary@cottroad.org.uk
